Children's Learning Behavior

We have found children all learn at different stages.  The No left behind concept is a good "thought" .  However children get left behind daily.  Why?  Because they have different factors in their lives that impact how they learn.  If one child is getting help at home and another isn't.  Then this will impact how they learn.  Today is a generation of the "Video Game".  It is much easier to let a child stay in front of the TV and play games than to work with them.   This impacts how a child learns.  They way we talk to our children and interact with them gives them the skills and knowledge of how to work with others.  Children do not know how to handle problems, we have to help them.  Be available and attentive with your child.  If they have a math problem and you do not know the answer go to all lengths to get the answer.  I hear so often that is the teachers job.  A teacher has 20 or better students and 7-8 hours with them to teach them all they need to know.  The teacher cannot do it all. The parents have to help or the child will be "left behind".
