Football Pro ’98 takes the field with more dazzling SVGA graphics with actual NFL team logos, helmets, stadiums and background artwork in 640x480 resolution. Full-screen graphics mode is supported in either 16 or 8 bit color, your choice. With the powerful Camera Angle Management System (CAMS), you can select exactly the view you want to see on the field and record instant replays as you create and edit your own "computer game highlight" films.
Looking for more out of the computer game . Included are more weather conditions to set, more cities and stadium information, and, of course, the
audio play-by-play to make you feel like you’re right at the stadium. There’s a new look to the Play Editor, and it’s faster than ever to test your plays. Make it to the Hall of Fame, and see some changes there also.
Try for a 2-point conversion on the last play of a computer game ; trade away the wide receiver that missed the computer game -winning touchdown; and set your draft order so your team drafts fast, agile halfbacks.
It includes the NFL team rosters are included and contain NFLPI game players for 1997 and the last three seasons. Or, release all game players from their NFL teams, and redraft them from the common draft pool. You can set player attributes based on the previous year’s statistics, or change those attributes as you prefer. Use multiplayer trades to improve your teams, or play commissioner and set up the teams and rules the way you want to run your league. In short, flexibility is what Football Pro is all about. Its sophisticated range of features lets you play NFL football any way and every way you want: as an owner, coach, general manager, and quarterback. Using the chat box, you can talk trash with your opponent in real time over local area networks, via a modem, or on the Internet. Try out your

quarterback-designed play books compiled especially for Football Pro ’98.

The computer game defaults to run DirectDraw in 16 Bit color. If it cannot go into 16 Bit color, it will try 8 Bit color. If you wish it to always come up in 8 Bit Color, edit the Setup.ini found in the main directory and change the entry under [Overall] Color=16 to Color=8.
Converting Old Leagues / Plans / Profiles
- If you have leagues in FB '95 format, you will need to run FpsUpOld to convert them to FB '96/'97 format.
- If you have leagues in FB '96 or '97 format, you will need to run FpsUpDat
to convert them to AASS FB format.
- Any profiles you have need to be converted to AASS FB format using FpsPup.
- Any plans using stock plays will need to be converted to AASS FB format using
FpsUpPl.
- If you have leagues in FB '95 format, you will need to run FpsUpOld to convert them to FB '96/'97 format.
- If you have leagues in FB '96 or '97 format, you will need to run FpsUpDat to convert them to AASS FB format.
